About Me
I’m just a small town girl, enjoying my life and trying to capture it. I love photography and design of any kind and have all of my life. Growing up, I wanted to be an animator. I was always drawing, doodling and sketching on every bit of paper I had.
After I got into college, I realized I didn’t want to be an animator anymore…but still had the artistic passion in me. When pregnant with my daughter, I discovered photography. Stealing my dad’s DSLR whenever I could, I read the manual and discovered how much fun it was to play with settings. Then I discovered that there were a ton of photographers out in the world and most of them had BLOGS! I proceeded to subscribe to so many of their feeds that my Google Reader exploded and became immersed in the love of this art.
The next step was to create my online presence. It took me forever….and then hit me like a ton of bricks. My last name is Campbell. My Uncle has called us The Soups forever. Why not utilize that? I became Mrs. Soup. That’s where A Life Condensed comes from as well. Condensed Soup. Mrs. Soup. Campbell. Get it? It’s become a part of my life now and I love it! It’s even helped me try to cook more!
I love being inspired by other creative souls. Love to just soak in everything I see: from the branding of my local restaurant to the photos used in advertisements. Overall, I love seeing the beauty in the world. Everyone and everything is beautiful. Nothing makes me more sad than when someone does not see how truly beautiful they are!
My favorite food is mashed potatoes. My favorite drink is Dr. Pepper. I love all kinds of music but right now, La Roux and Adele are constantly on repeat.
