What an incredible season, the amount of growth everyone has had has just been incredible and I’ve been so honored to be along for the journey! Here’s to the next season and all that that will bring!
I photograph @regenerationdancestudio throughout t I photograph @regenerationdancestudio throughout the year and any of the dancers that don’t take off the hair ties from their wrists have to do burpees. Minis only have to do 5, anyone else has to do ten. At the end of the season photoshoot, four little minis had hair ties! I bet they won’t forget next year…or maybe they will.
It’s been a heck of a weekend…dropping your ca It’s been a heck of a weekend…dropping your camera and breaking both your camera and lens before the biggest dance performances of the year is not recommended. If it does happen, I can highly recommend having a great team of support to keep you calm and help you find solutions. Additionally, a HUGE thanks to Mazda at @shutterbugoregon for literally saving the day. Him and his team helped hold my hand through the stress and we figured out solutions for each of the steps. Yesterday, I rented a lens, and today I added a camera that was used as a rental and a 70-200 lens since mine wasn’t compatible with the camera. Every problem was met with a solution in the easiest method possible and I am so incredibly thankful. Just in time to capture the Vikettes in all their glory for their final performance of the year. They absolute slayed and I’m so thankful I was able to capture it in the way that they deserved.

Every year, they wear their costumes and we make a special photo shoot to show them off. We’ve done chalk and balloons and this year, we played with a smoke machine. There is always so much laughter and joy on these days and I’m so lucky to get to be a part of their season! If your team wants this kind of special photo shoot, contact me! The Vikettes put their heart out on the floor at t The Vikettes put their heart out on the floor at their own gym this past weekend with both Show and Pom. So proud of their hard work, both on and off the gym floor. It was hard work hosting, but I know how much fun they had too!
Debuting a new routine, especially one with so man Debuting a new routine, especially one with so many moving parts, is always nerve wracking, but seeing the Vikette show routine on the floor at Sprague for the first time still gives me chills! This journey has just begun, we have a long way to go til state but with the trusty compass, I know they can make it!

So proud of these secret agents and the performance they put out on the floor. I’ve loved seeing their growth over the season!
