When I was asked if I wanted to take pictures of the Oregon Humane Society’s biggest Fundraiser of the Year, I jumped at the chance. The Doggie Dash is a 1.5 mile walk/run that includes a huge area full of dog based vendors, mimosas and a pancake breakfast. Being that I was going to be getting a puppy myself a couple weeks from that point, I was definitely excited to get to play with dogs from all over the city.
I had the honor of getting to shoot the racers on the East side of the river. I started at the Hawthorne Bridge and worked my way along with the rest down until crossing the Steel Bridge, taking pictures all the way. It was so much fun!
