You’ll remember this tattooed lady: Annie, my muse. She makes amazing jewelry at Lady Locks Creations but more than that, is such a good and sweet person. She came out with me to assist on a session I had scheduled (which will come in the future!) and we got dolled up. She took a couple new headshots for me and came dolled up so we could play at the location we were at.
We had such an amazing time and the images….oh the images! Having a complete freedom to play and pose and change lighting is just a blast.
The light was breathtaking, the forest was gorgeous…it was just a flawless day! And when you have a flawless model like Annie, it’s even better!
Oregon is hard, during the winter time. The cloud cover is solid and the chance of rain is pretty much a guarantee. It’s also a time of cold air. Even though we don’t get much snow, the air is brisk and damp and cold. In between locations, Annie wore her coat, to stay warm.
It looked pretty good too! Especially when she was helping me set up for the session.
This tattooed lady also brought along a shawl and it looked amazing. We played with the darkness and was so much fun. And of course, she brought along a skull. Because that’s how she rolls.
One last goal for this session was to photograph her finished tattooed sleeve. It’s been a labor of love for almost a year. She wanted to make sure that we had some beautiful images of the completed sleeve to share with her tattoo artist.
I think it turned out amazing and it was an honor to be able to capture these images. If you want portraits of your own artwork as a tattooed lady, or just want beautiful images with our gorgeous Oregon winter, contact me today!
